On my last trip to England, Harvey Bell of BBC Radio Suffolk was kind enough to interview me about my book “Driving Around, Waiting to Get Blown Up,” and all things Ipswich Town.
We talked about the 2005 collaboration between Ipswich Town FC, TWTD.co.uk, and the US Army to distribute more than 500 Ipswich shirts to Iraqi men and boys where I was stationed. The BBC actually covered this story at the time.
The interview went out on Monday, May 19th, and you can listen to it here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m002bz81 (I’m at the 26 minute mark).
